Giving Tuesday is a global initiative that encourages people to donate to charitable causes on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving.
It is in direct contrast to the frenzy of shopping that accompanies Black Friday and Cyber Monday immediately before.
Please take the opportunity this year on Giving Tuesday to contribute to the Antietam Institute fundraising campaign to help acquire and restore two properties on the battlefield west of Sharpsburg where Confederate AP Hill’s Division arrived on the field late in the afternoon of 17 September 1862.
